ABOUT
Thomas Paine’s Corner (TPC), founded on March 10, 2005 by Jason Miller, is dedicated to ending the unnecessary suffering of oppressed and exploited sentient beings and to the total liberation of human animals, nonhuman animals, and the Earth. While TPC is eclectic, holistic, and open to varying perspectives, we approach anti-capitalism and total liberation from an essentially anarcho-veganist position–in virtual direct opposition to our imperialist, patriarchal, faux Christian, corporatist, statist, speciesist society–as we pursue democracy, decentralization, mutually respectful individual sovereignty, egalitarianism, direct action, nonhuman animal liberation, Earth liberation, and mutual aid.
Thomas Paine’s Corner no longer advocates socialism, communism, or any form of statism for that matter. We are also vehemently opposed to hierarchal and exploitative systems, like capitalism and the corporatism/fascism into which it inevitabely degrades. TPC maintains and advances a holistic and open-minded worldview, but its essential goal is the total liberation of the Earth and its sentient beings informed by the over-arching philosophy of anarcho-veganism. Click on the “Total Liberation” tab on the TPC home page or on the link below to gain a deeper understanding of our philosophies and worldview.

Thomas Paine’s Corner is not a news vehicle. We (the editorial collective) are activists, agitators, polemicists, educators, philosophers, essayists, authors, and social critics. We are not, and have never professed to be, journalists.
NOTE: TPC’s original URL was http://civillibertarian.blogspot.com/ (from its launch in March 2005 until its merger with Cyrano’s Journal Online in early 2007). In February 2009 TPC once again became independent at http://thomaspainescorner.wordpress.com/.
